Since then, thousands of imitators have uploaded their videos to YouTube in hopes of developing a fan base and catching the attention of a music producer.
16-year-old Christina Grimmie has done that better than anyone, and she might be the next YouTube star to follow in Justin’s footsteps. Her covers of Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber songs have millions of views on YouTube. She already has a management team working to turn her online fame into real world success.
Selena Gomez has also helped the young star in the making get more attention, and a record deal seems inevitable at this point. She certainly meets all the criteria for tween star: good voice, cute face, religious background and a down to earth attitude.
